How to Join Your CLRC Class on Zoom

Accessing Zoom for Classes


You do not need a separate Zoom account for your student. The classroom link we provide already contains everything needed to join the meeting.


Steps to Join Your Class:

  1. Find Your Class Link
    Log in to your Student Canvas Dashboard and click on the class name. The Zoom link will be posted on your course page.

  2. Click the Link
    A new window will open in your browser. If prompted, click “Open Zoom” (or “Launch Meeting”) and then “Join with Computer Audio.”

  3. Enter Your Name
    Please use your student’s first and last name so your teacher can recognize them quickly in the waiting room.

  4. Test Your Setup (Optional but recommended)
    Before the first day of class, click the link early to confirm your device, camera, and microphone work.

Tips for the Best Experience:

  • Use a laptop or desktop when possible for better visibility.

  • Join 5 minutes early to troubleshoot before class starts.

  • Keep your camera on (if possible) so teachers can interact with you.

  • Have your materials ready before joining.


If Your Link Isn’t Working:

  • First, check you’re logged into your Canvas and using the link for the correct class and section.

  • Try refreshing your browser or using a different browser (Chrome works best).

  • If it still doesn’t work, email support@clrconline.com with your student’s name, course name, and a description of the issue.
